Baked Goodness!

One of my favorite dishes to order at Hong Kong style bakery cafe restaurants is baked seafood pasta. Baked pork chop rice is equally delicious. :D I recently got a gratin baking dish, so I decided to try it out myself! My variation is personal sized, and uses rotini pasta with salmon and assorted vegetables. (And just as a side note, Angela has already posted her version of baked casserole pasta dishes.) The recipe is quite simple - requiring only the very staple ingredients with the addition of an oven of course.
Here's the restaurant style that inspired it all (baked lobster and bacon penne in cream sauce):
Let's begin cooking!
Boil some water and prepare the pasta:

Obtain a fillet of salmon......and dice into the size of your choice.

Toss the salmon with the pasta. Then add the sauce of your choice. I used a creamy afredo.

Transfer the pasta to a casserole dish and don't forget to top with a good amount of cheese (and breadcrumbs too, if you have some).Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown on the top, about 15 minutes. In the oven:And voila! Dinner is served!

Highly recommended to serve with a side of creamy corn soup and garlic toast or dinner rolls!

I prefer 'loh song tong' (borsch) when I go to HK cafes though--not to mention cup after cup of hot milk tea!
